Based on a 2010 research carried out by Campus Pride, LGBTQ+ faculty users and pupils had been far more prone to experience harassment than their cisgender, heterosexual peers.
In addition, LGBTQ+ students and faculty users were much less prone to feel at ease due to their environment on campus.
These findings indicate the necessity for universities to simply take a stance that is active LGBTQ+ harassment and discrimination ― a stance that can help LGBTQ+ pupils feel safer and much more welcomed. (more…)
